Hi, I'm Elise! I'm a printmaker based in Yorkshire, England and I like to create gothic and nature inspired relief-prints.
I'm a gradiate of BA (Hons) Fine Art at the University of Lincoln.

I began lino printing in late 2019 as an extension of my Fine Art BA (Hons) Degree. All of my designs are carefully handcarved and printed, with the goal of creating good-quality art at affordable prices - unlike low quality, mass produced products by larger corporations that are made in unsustainable ways.
I understand how impactful even the smallest businesses can be on the environment, and want to do my best to be sustainable and eco-friendly.

All of the handmade prints featured in this shop have been printed on either recycled or handmade paper that are made from sustainable materials and that I have sourced from a local small paper shop. All the digitally printed postcards have been produced by a local printing business (Print.Work, Leeds) on white, 300gsm card made from 100% genuine de-inked post consumer waste and is FSC certified.

For packaging I use 100% recycled tissue paper, recyclable cardboard mailing boxes, and biodegradable & compostable mailing bags made from starch. All the prints are packaged inside waterproof wallets made from biodegradable bio-film and card-backed envelopes that can be recycled. Instead of using stickers to decorate my packaging, I use custom paper postage tape that can also be recycled with the rest of the packaging.
